Another trip booked

Booked a trip to Krakow, Poland from 19 Apr to 22 Apr by Wizz Air. The return ticket price is 33.50 euros inclusive of taxes and i think the price is a steal (which of course i found, after numerous searches).

Found a cheap 36 euro flight (everything inclusive) from Brussels to Glasgow by Ryanair as well. Might book the flight in the future.

Heard from one of GY's friend that her friend passed only half of the modules which she took while taking the modules in Aerospace Engineering. It is truly horrific that someone with scholarship only managed to pass half of the modules here. She as a result has to delay her studies back in the US for half a year for screwing up the exchange here.

By the way, for people who do not know, the system here is very different from NTU in the sense that they have no bell curve or moderation. Fail plainly means fail and students will have to do the resit exams. Unfortunately, we all will be back in Singapore during the resit period in August.

For people who do not know, the modules here are HARD! Yes, i mean hard as in 'chim', difficult, tedious, tough, etc. It focuses a lot on the concepts and the topics discussed are very in-depth although the scope might be narrower. Furthermore, there are no tutorials classes. You might think that it is a good thing but it is bad as we do not have solutions (only answers) to the questions in the Blackboard. Also, only 1 module has tutorial questions while other modules do not have any. My concepts are definitely not strong and i have to put in a lot more effort in the coming weeks.

My exams are on the 27 Mar to 7 Apr. Wish me luck and ability to pass all my modules. I would be VERY VERY happy to pass all my modules here in TU-Delft.

PS: The students in Aerospace Engineering here takes an average of 7.5 years to graduate. (based on rather accurate hearsay) So you can imagine the difficulty level here. :(

I must endure.
