All Q3 results out

>> Friday, May 30, 2008

All Quarter 3 results are out and I'm happy that I've passed all my modules. As I mentioned previously that there is no moderation in the results and any tough papers (eg. flight dynamics I) are scary in the sense that any score with 5 or lesser means fail.

2 or 3 more exams to clear from 19 June to 27 June for Quarter 4. Definitely a lesser load compared to Q3 but I still need to put in effort coz I've been neglecting my studies.

Going to Switzerland for a final pre-exam holiday from 31 May to 8 June. Will have to start studying intensively after the trip.

Back from Prague!

Prague is really quite beautiful and the weather was fortunately good while we were there.

Latest gossip: A 2nd new couple seems to have emerged. Singletons here seem to be getting lesser and lesser. Ha...

It was definitely an 'experience' to be trapped (in an airplane) and become a light bulb. Hopefully, i won't have to relive the experience again.

Finalized

>> Sunday, May 25, 2008

The final leg of the 3 week post exam trip has been finalized. Will be going to Scotland and Ireland after the Spain and Portugal tour.

My 23 day tour is as follows...

Eindhoven - Stockholm - Heidelberg - Madrid - Porto - Barcelona - Valencia - Glasgow - Edinburgh - Dublin - Amsterdam

Hopefully i won't be too tired from all the intensive traveling. I'll scrimp and save more for the upcoming trips as the accommodation in Europe is expensive.

208 euros for 9 one-way air tickets. Have to thank Ryanair for the low air fares.

Back from Wet Vienna

>> Saturday, May 24, 2008

The weather was terrible from the moment we touched down at Vienna.

It rained intermittently and that took away some of our lively spirits as we were walking in the rain to different tourist spots.

Nonetheless, the opera performance at Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper) was the highlight of the trip as the vocals were superb and the interior of the opera house classically beautiful.

I've been busy planning for the remaining trips since yesterday as I gotta start my revision soon. Getting a little stressed that I haven't started studying since the end of my Quarter 3 exams.

Back from Berlin

>> Monday, May 19, 2008

Perhaps if we travel alone, we are able to know the city more intimately.

I was traveling alone in Berlin on Friday as I was the only one who went over to Berlin to find Daryl. Daryl was working and I spent the day traveling around Berlin alone.

It was an interesting experience and it was the first time that I traveled alone. I just did what I wanted and even walked until my knee ached at night.

I covered a lot of places during the 3 day whirlwind tour of Berlin and Potsdam. Tiring but worth it. I enjoyed Berlin coz there were much fewer tourists compared to Paris and Italy.

Will be heading to Vienna tomorrow.

Back on Thur morning.

After the whirlwind tour of the 3 museums, we cycled back to Delft.

And saw some tulips on the way back.

Den Haag Museums (15 Apr) (Part 1)

We cycled to Den Haag to visit some museums using our museumkaarts. It took us about 1 hour 15 mins to get to the museums. Our first stop is Museon which is a science museum.

After that, we headed to the International Court of Justice. Unfortunately, we have to book the tour before we can go inside. Thus, we were outside taking photos only.

Next we proceeded to Gemeente Museum beside Museon.

To be continued...
