Kian Shing and Janan wanted to go to the Asian Supermarket, Xotus, and i decided to go together as Kian Shing and i decided to explore Delft museums after that. We explored Janan's apartment as it is near the supermarket.
Compact living room
The bicycle store in the basement felt like a scene in a horror movie though. We went to the supermarket next but it is closed. Kian Shing and I headed to the museums near the old town center next.
Passing by a traditional water tank
The entrance fee is a whopping 10 euros and we did not go inside to tour the old water tank.
The old church with its slanting tower
Museum Lambert van Meerten
Museum Lambert van Meerten
Using our museumkaart, we have free entrance to the museum and went inside.
This small museum is housed in a completely furnished 19th century canal house. Lambert van Meerten built this dream house in 1892, using antique building material. This neo-renaissance building was one of the first houses in Delft to have its own sewer system, central heating, running water, electricity and gas.
