Pre-Langkawi!

Spent the day packing my bag before going to Golden Mile Complex to board the bus. There was a bit of a delay and we boarded the bus at 8.45 pm instead of 8 pm. This was the start of the long bus journey to Langkawi. Most people were busy chatting with each other in the bus but i tried to sleep as i did not want to be tired the next day. It was a rather futile attempt as there were a number of stops along the way. Took a few photos in the bus.


We had our supper at a 24 hour food court along the North-South Highway and had a few hours of rest before reaching Penang at around 6 am. The ferry to Langkawi is leaving at 8 am and we have 2 hours to find a place to have our breakfast. I've never been to Penang before and i was enthusiastic to explore the city. The architecture of the buildings there is rich in its culture and not as metropolitan as the major cities in the region. Took a few pictures while walking to find a place to eat.

We finally found a shop selling roti prata and had our breakfast there. Proceeded to the ferry terminal next and we had another long wait as we can only board the 8.45 am ferry.

We finally boarded the ferry and they were screening The Rundown on the small tv set in front of our seats. Fell asleep after 10 mins and woke up 5 mins before the show ended. Went up to the top of the ship to check out the scenery.
