Watched The Chronicles of Narnia with Kr today at Suntec.

Narnia claims to be this year's Lord of The Rings, but of course it is not as good as the latter. It lacks LOTR's ferocious (bloody) battle sequences and the dread of evil is not as fearsome. I'm not saying it's bad, i enjoyed the movie actually. The story is about 4 siblings who stumbled into Narnia through a wardrobe and were asked to lead a war against the White Witch and her army. The journey is magical and enchanting, with the 4 children fulfilling a prophecy that will save Narnia from the endless years of winter. There are lots of magical characters like talking beavers, wise and noble Aslan the lion, fighting centaurs, nice fawn and evil wolves for the children to love and hate. Too bad the battle couldn't be more bloody, too bad the show is catered more for the younger audiences. It's still an enjoyable show, grand and nice (too nice).
