Edwin's 23rd Birthday

It is Edwin's 23rd birthday today and we had a mini celebration for him. We met up at Bugis in the evening and headed to a Korean restaurant along Liang Seah St for dinner. We ordered quite a lot of food which consists of an individual meal each plus a hot pot and bbq meat that we shared.

After our full dinner, we headed to Bugis Junction for a walk to 'digest' our food. Derrick joined us soon after and we decided to watch the soccer match between Liverpool and Chelsea. We walked along Liang Seah St in search of bars or cafes showing the EPL match and entered an interesting looking cafe. There are many antiques inside the cafe and the deco is quite retro.

Derrick ordered a bucket of beer that contains 5 bottles of beer in an ice bucket. Some of us ordered cheesecakes and other finger food to exercise our restless mouths.

We were talking loudly among ourselves as the cafe cannot accommodate too many people and we took half the number of seats inside. It was nice to settle on a comfortable couch while watching the match, listening to music in the background, and chatting among ourselves. After the match, we headed back to Bugis Junction to get some dessert but Swensons had closed at 11 pm. We then contemplated on where to go next and walked around Bugis Village for a while before deciding on Mac. Terence and i headed to Starbucks nearby to get Edwin a slice of mango cheesecake to celebrate his birthday.

We then headed back home after the celebration. Thanks to Edwin for treating us at the cafe!
