River Hongbao + Chingay

Met up with my jc gang at Esplanade and we had our dinner at Marina Square. The fireworks display was at 9.30 pm and we gathered at the balcony of the food court to view it. The fireworks were more than i expected and the display lasted between 2 to 3 minutes.

There is a fireworks display daily at 9.30 pm until next tue. We then headed to River Hongbao at the open patch of land across the road from Esplanade.


Coincidentally, Chingay floats were parked near River Hongbao and we took several photos with the floats.

There were quite a lot of people at River Hongbao and we walked around finding good spots to take pictures. There are quite a lot of food and games stalls as well as the traditional zodiac animals exhibits and a performance stage.




We took quite a lot of photos together and we left slightly before midnight to have our supper at AMK. Along the way, we turned into the amk carpark beside NTUC and discovered the all the Chingay floats there! Edwin, Gs and i decided to take more photos with the floats.



We climbed up some of the floats and used Edwin's tripod to take the photos. It was quite interesting to get up close and personal with these huge floats. After spending half an hour snapping pictures, we got back to having supper as Terence and his gf were waiting for us.

Got back home at 2 am and i have still many tutorials waiting to be done. :(
