Trip to Science Centre
>> Monday, March 06, 2006
Went to Singapore Science Centre with my aerospace class as part of the Discovery Course 2 curriculum. We were to redesign or improve on an existing exhibit in the Aviation section of the Science Centre. We were briefed on the project in one of the labs in level 3 before proceeding to examine the exhibits.
We were mostly in a light mood and were happily toying with of the exhibits. Took quite a lot of photos inside.
Aeroplane and helicopter models
Chicks inside incubator!
An exhibit that displays the pitch, yaw and roll of a plane.
Waterworks for us to play with.
We spent a short 1 h 30 mins inside and we brought back to school after the visit. Too bad science centre was closed on monday and they only opened up the Aviation section and some other sections which do not require electricity for students. Some other sections we explored were in total darkness and the speakers was playing soft piano sounds with momentary pauses. Eerie but fun with many people around.
