Vietnam Day 2: Hanoi (Part 2)

We finally found the river after navigating through the small alleys and the view was disappointing. I had hoped that the riverfront would be as nice as Phnom Penh's riverfront but it was apparently not.

We proceeded back to the streets and continued navigating northwest to Hoan Kiem Lake.
Along Duong Bach Dang Street
We decided to stop by a restaurant near Fivimart to have our lunch. It was shiok to spend only around 2 to 3 dollars for restaurant food.
Taking a short break by the side of the river
We walked along the side of the lake towards the temple located in the middle of the lake.
Crossing the bridge to Ngoc Son Temple
We found that we need to pay tickets to enter the temple and decided not to go in after all. We shot several photos outside the temple next.

We continued walking northwards and reached Hang Be Market. The market isn't like those flea markets or night markets but a wet market. Ha...
