The End

>> Thursday, May 03, 2007

The end has finally come. Had my last paper today and it was a lot of work! I skipped the drawing naturally as i wanted to complete the rest before doing the time consuming drawing. Anyway, the drawing required us to draw isometric view which we had never practiced before. It was unfair for that to be tested but what the heck, I don't really care about the exams since they are over. I feel that i did the best that i could and i wasn't pissed that i didn't complete the drawing coz there was absolutely no time to do a proper engineering graphics drawing for the 7 marks question.

Me and some of my coursemates went to town for lunch after the exam and we decided on Seoul Garden as the student value price is only $10.90++, which adds up to $13.85 per pax for the 6 of us. Quite a bargain for students (mon to fri only) but we didn't eat a lot as we all got sick of eating the meat after 2 hours. I don't think i'll go there and eat for a very long time.

Went over to Cineleisure to catch Spiderman 3. This 3rd installation at a length of 2 hours 25 minutes is a wee bit too long. Awesome special effects as usual but i preferred the 2nd episode. There are many baddies in this movie which consists of The Young Green Goblin, Sandman, Venom and Spiderman himself. Spiderman turns egoistic and self-absorbed with all the fame and glory going into his nerdy head. There are too many enemies and the efforts spent to humanise the baddies didn't really pay off. The focus of the movie is not as strong as the previous 2 episodes. The action was definitely entertaining though. The humour was rather consistent throughout the movie and the main characters developments work quite well. Hated the cliches and the deliberate twists and turns though. Can a baddie suddenly turn good?
