Schooling

Been busy in school and at home installing everything and transferring everything to my new computer. It has 250 gb of hard disk so i don't have to worry about running out of space. Finally, i can have a fast com after using my 4 yr old laptop which has a few stuck keys and prior to that was a 866 MHz computer that is about 7 yrs old.

I hate my core modules coz they are all related to physics! Arggg.... aerospace dynamics is sucky (hard to understand, full of formulas, lecturer talking too fast), circuits and electronics is confusing, fluid mechanics takes some time to understand, mechanics of materials & maths 3 are still manageable, and lab 2A is a waste of time.

Love my electives though. Mind Over Stress is quite an interesting module as it combines health with psychology. Did you know many diseases that people develop are linked to stress? Did you know that your mind can influence your health as neurons and the immune system are linked by neuropeptides? The factual events provided by the lecturer were very insightful as well.

My other elective, Magic of Voice in the World of a Singer was very slack indeed and we even had group discussion to know each other better. She showed us some music videos of different singers and let us see how different singers can bring out different moods for the same song. Our lecturer is quite a well known voice teacher and she should be joining the Mediacorp Academy to groom future artistes next year. There will also be song presentations as our continual assessments.

Luckily, there are interesting electives that can bring life to the boring and dry engineering modules i'm taking.
