Went out with Ks in the morning for a nature walk to accompany him to take photos of the biodiversity of Singapore. Went to the nearby Bukit Timah Nature Reserve for a walk. We took many photos of the different species of trees there.

A view from one side of Bukit Timah Hill

We climbed to the top of Bukit Timah Hill within a short period of time and i would say that it wasn't difficult at all.

We went into the exhibition hall and took a number of photos inside. I did not know that there are 3 quarries in Bukit Timah nature reserve area until now. They are Singapore Quarry, Hindhede Quarry and Dairy Farm Quarry.

We then headed to Bukit Timah hawker centre for lunch before going to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.

Exhibition Hall

We toured the swampy areas without getting our feet wet and observed some animals like birds, crabs, mudskippers, monitor lizards, fishes and small lizards. We spent an hour and a half inside and proceeded to Labrador Park next.

We went to view the collapsed tunnel from Labrador Park to Sentosa. Too bad we can't go inside the tunnel.

We then walked along the coastline and headed to the last natural rocky beach in Singapore.

Dead coral

There wasn't a lot of living organisms to see as the tide had not receded yet. We then went to the bunkers on top of the hill for a look

We headed to Kent Ridge Park for a short while before going back home. Thanks to Ks for the birthday present.
