Today is the last day of our lessons for the 3rd quarter. We will now have more time to focus on the exams. 5 papers to go!
Read more...We took bus 110 to Muiden and the bus trip lasts about 7 mins.
Sometimes i wonder why i am studying aerospace engineering. Why?
I thought that it will be better studying overseas but it is apparently not the case for aerospace engineering. It just gets harder and harder to muster enough effort to study for something which i had lost interest in.
Continuing the tour of Weesp old town center....
Going Prague from 26 May to 28 May. Booked a SkyEurope flight from Amsterdam to Prague which costs 49.5 euros. Rather cheap, coz we are going during the weekdays.
I originally planned for a 4 day Prague trip that includes Cesky Krumlov and Kutna Hora but weekend flights are twice as expensive as weekday flights, and we can only afford to go for 2 days during the weekdays. Never mind, i'll make sure we will make the most out of the 2 days there.
Looks like it will be a traveling extravaganza from April to June.
I need to focus on studying!
I keep thinking about the traveling plans and options for more traveling (like nearby locations: Gent, Lubeck, Antwerp, Bruges, Hamburg, Cologne, etc)
I get distracted easily when the computer is in front of me.
By the way, our next quarter of studies is converted from a 4 day study week to a 2 day study week! The total number of lecture hours next quarter is less than half the amount we are taking in this quarter.
I must work first and enjoy later!
The exams are drawing nearer and nearer. 12 days more to our first paper.
Time is running out against us and we can only try our best to understand the 'chim' concepts within the short span of time available.
Still, we are discussing about how to celebrate after our last paper which is the Flight Dynamics exams on 7 Apr. Can't hardly wait.
I've bought coach tickets to Berlin for just 36 euros! I'll be heading to find Daryl for a 3 day weekend trip in May. Accommodation free!
My traveling schedule from April to June is as follows: Krakow, Brussels, Milan, Venice, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Paris, Berlin, Basel, Zürich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Berne.
That's excluding my 1 month backpacking trip after sch ends! Hope that i won't spend too much money. :P
"Gone are the days when we used to run after dollars, holding onto them for rainy days," said Vijay Narain, a tour operator in the city of Agra where the Taj Mahal is located. "Now we prefer the euro. It gives us more riches."
In Bolivia, billboards feature George Washington's image on a $1 bill alongside a bright pink 500 euro note, encouraging savers to turn to the euro to tuck away money earned abroad or sent home in remittances.
"If the dollar's going down ... save it in Euros!!!" say the signs popping up around La Paz for Bolivia's Banco Bisa.
In Manhattan's Bowery district, Billy LeRoy, the owner of Billy's Antiques & Props, prefers payment in euros so he can stockpile the currency for his annual antique buying trip to Paris.
While low dollar cycles have come and gone for decades, experts caution that it's now much more difficult to predict when this one will end because the euro didn't exist as competition for the dollar before.
