Got the term funky from Janan and i agree that some of the notes are indeed 'funky'.

Some terms from Acoustics of Gas Turbines

Small isentropic perturbations of pressure and density in a further quiescent medium

Acoustic Analogy (wave equation in frame of reference (left side exact non-homogeneous wave equation) and source distribution on the right side)

Aerodynamic quadrupole (noise is produced by Reynolds stresses (turbulent velocity correlations) in a turbulent gas in the absence of obstacles

Distorted shock waves, which propagate non-linearly in the intake resulting in buzz-saw noise at low frequency

I think i'll give up on this chapter coz i seriously don't understand much about it. Crap, insane, alien stuff.
